In the 1980s, my friends and I often stayed in Volterra because a friend owned a farm house near Volterra. I liked the Migliorini pastry shop. I also liked the silence at night, the good food, the friendly people… Through the years, I got used to the town. In 2021, I had the chance to buy a small house in the city and later the garden below it. I bought locally made 1920s furniture from subito.it and Italian paintings which fit the style of the house.

The garden is still unkempt. In the 19th century, the garden was planted with olive trees.

Probably, I like Volterra because I am happy in Volterra and am happy in Volterra because I love Volterra. There are many beautiful places in the world, this is where I feel good.
